Meet the Houston Moms’ Executive Team

Elizabeth Baker, Managing Editor

Elizabeth was raised in Houston and met her husband Ryan shortly after graduating from Texas A&M with a journalism degree. A few years later, Grayson {Sept 2010}, turned Elizabeth’s world upside down, not only with his sparkling blue eyes and killer smile, but with his profound disabilities and diagnosis of Mitochondrial Disease. After two years of navigating the world of special needs parenting, Elizabeth and Ryan were blessed with Charlotte {Jan 2013} and Nolan {Sept 2015}, perfectly completing their party of five. Elizabeth and her crew live in Katy, and when she can steal a few moments for herself, she can be found out for Mexican food and margaritas with girlfriends, binge-listening to podcasts and audiobooks, or trying once again {unsuccessfully} to organize her closet. In addition to her role as Managing Editor of HMB, Elizabeth writes about faith, politics and special needs parenting for publications like Scary Mommy and HuffPost. Christina {Chris} Sizemore, Communications Director

Christina {Chris} is a Houston native. She grew up just north of the Heights and after a short stent in Oklahoma to obtain an advertising degree, she now resides in Spring with her husband, daughter {2013} and black lab {2016}. In 2017, just before Hurricane Harvey, their lives were devastated by a house fire. They lost their home, belongings, dog and her husband almost lost his life. Chris had two options, succumb to PTSD, guilt and depression, or live. She chose to live life brazenly. Today she is a marketing consultant, writer, artist, and adventurer; working from home or from the woods with her family in their renovated camper. Together they have a goal of visiting every state park in Texas {there are 89 total}, stand up paddle board in tow. Chris is currently writing a book about their home fire journey. She has a passion for mental health, exploration and encouraging others to see the world, follow their dreams, and live life brazenly. You can find more of her writing and art at @strongerthanfire.com, or follow her on Instagram at @strongerthanfire, where she shares her family’s adventures, encouragement and weird humor like the backyard telenovela and reviews of made-for-TV Christmas movies.

Bethany Dufilho, Sales Coordinator

Bethany, the daughter of an army chaplain and a special education teacher, grew up moving every 2-3 years. She considers herself an introvert who had to learn how to make friends quickly! She met her Houstonian husband, Paul, in college and they married in 2004. They first settled just north of Houston, where she earned her master’s degree at Sam Houston State in School Psychology. After working in public education for a couple of years, she decided to stay home full time with their children, Charlie {2008}, Norah {2010}, and Will {2013}. The family moved to Katy in 2012, where they’ve been ever since. She loves decorating and even had her own small business for a while. She also loves to read, binge-watch old TV shows, talk politics and enneagram, and will not turn down a cup of strong coffee or a good conversation with a friend.

Kelly Richman, Exclusive Team Photographer

Kelly is a newborn, maternity, family and photographer in Houston whose goal is to capture truly magical family moments and provide the Houston community with printed wall art you’ll treasure for the rest of your life.  As you may have seen on our pages, she also dedicates her time to photographing headshots and branding images for business professionals in our community.

From beginning to end, Kelly offers an exclusive experience you’ll never forget. From preparing you for your session to placing your portraits on the wall, Kelly here to guide you every step of the way. Her specialties are in babies and family photography, but so many of her clients stay with her throughout their family journey.

When Kelly is not photographing families or newborns, you can find her fishing with her family and spending time with her boys. Being active and outdoors is a cornerstone of their life, and what she loves most is enjoying every moment she can with them.

Parenting is the best adventure you can ever have. But if you don’t capture those moments early on, those first steps and milestones will just be a memory. I would love to work with you to document your journey from your maternity to your baby’s milestones months after they opened their eyes for the first time.

You can explore Kelly’s work, book sessions and connect with her through her site, www.lifetimeofclicksphotography.com.
