Ashley was born in Long Beach, CA, but spent most of her childhood in Denver, CO. Ashley ventured to Oklahoma where she attended Langston University and transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma. Ashley graduated with an English degree from the UCO in 2011. Ashley was married to A.J. for six years... but it just didn't work out. And that's OK! They have three wild, precious, hilarious sons, Oliver {October 2012}, Maverick {August 2015} and Reeve {August 2017} who make life so incredibly meaningful. In her free time, she can be found binge watching The Office {for the millionth time}, listening to inappropriate podcasts, or oversharing on Instagram!

Rebecca is a born and raised Houstonian; she grew up in Katy, graduated with a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston {go Coogs!}, and made a home in West Houston with her native Houstonian husband. She quickly realized that the chaotic lifestyle of the hospitality industry was not for her and soon found her calling in education. She taught while earning her masters in Library Science from the University of North Texas.

Becca is a small-town {and likely barefoot} Louisiana girl who’s journey to Texas was unexpected to say the least. Not long after getting hitched to the best guy she knows, Becca and her husband welcomed their full of life red headed son {2018} and they now refer to themselves as “the big 3”! Fast forward to early 2021 when Becca was diagnosed with something that changed their lives forever and so, they picked up and headed west. What was supposed to be a short time in Houston for these small-town folks turned into a so much more. Becca's a straight shooter, a little bit crunchy, and a lover of all things love. Brianna is a single mom to two boys & two cats. Her little family lives in a little house in the Loop. She’s a native Texan, but newish to Houston, having lived in DC, NYC, Chicago & Boise before. When she’s not writing (which, she’s always writing) then she’s exploring Houston, her new favorite city. Brianna has a background in journalism, public relations and marketing. Cindy is a first-generation Ecuadorian-American who grew up in San Antonio but discovered her love of Houston while completing her undergraduate degree at Rice University. She then moved around Texas for her medical training, before returning to the area for her residency at UTMB. To challenge her time management skills further, she got married and had 2 cute kiddos. In her downtime from being a mother, she works as a Family Medicine doctor in her own clinic, Archway Family Medicine Direct Primary Care. Cindy was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in Sugar Land, Texas. She has a BS from the University of Texas at Austin in elementary education and a M.Ed in curriculum and instruction from Houston Baptist University. Cindy married her high school sweetheart, Stuart, after 10 years of dating. Stuart and Cindy are the parents of two beautiful girls and an adorable miniature schnauzer. In her spare time, Cindy loves to bake and try new recipes.

Elyssa was born and raised in Houston. Deciding to try out life in the cold weather, Elyssa attended University of Michigan for undergrad and University of Chicago for grad school. After obtaining her LCSW {licensed clinical social worker}, Elyssa moved back to Houston in 2012. Shortly after her move, Elyssa met her husband, Paul. Elyssa and Paul have been married for 6 years and have two children – Henry {October 2018} and Josephine {March 2021}. Elyssa currently is a psychotherapist in private practice specializing in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents.

Ese (essay) is a friend, wife, and mom to 4 amazing children {2007, 2015, 2016 & 2017} who keep her busy laughing. She is a transplant from Cincinnati, Ohio. Her faith keeps her grounded in an ever-changing world. Her favorite foods are a tie between a great salad and fried ripe plantains with scrambled eggs. She loves being hot during the day and cold when sleeping. She has a deep appreciation for worship music, Brad Paisley and one particular lil Kim song.

Kim R. was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but became is a Texan now! She graduated from Texas A&M University {Whoop!} in 1999 and moved back to Houston to start her high school teaching/school counseling career. That Houston move resulted in meeting a cute next door neighbor at her apartment complex who later became her husband. Kim and that cute neighbor moved to the Cypress in 2005 where they now raise Griffin {October 2008} and Emmy {August 2013}.

Kirsten C. was born and raised in Texas Hill Country. After becoming a hopelessly devoted Bobcat and earning a degree in Mass Communications-Public Relations at Texas State University, she was wooed by the never-ending culinary options and vibrant street art of Houston and became a transplant. By day she is a marketing enthusiast for a downtown engineering firm, and by night, an over-the-top {and unashamed} dog mom.

Lindsay was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and she and her husband headed south to Spring in June of 2016. As a clinical social worker, she works full time with families growing their families through adoption. Lindsay met her husband John when they were both camp counselors. They welcomed their future little campers G in December 2017 and R in 2020. Lindsay is constantly reading, researching at least one new thing, and attempting to organize her life through bullet journaling.

Mary B. is a lifelong creative, dreamer, and joy seeker. Born and raised in northern Illinois, Mary attended the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, receiving her B.F.A. in acting, then worked as a sometimes actress/model, sometimes waitress. Mary and her husband got married in Sept 2012, welcomed a son in 2014, moved to Texas from Chicago in 2016, and welcomed a daughter in 2017, completing their family.

Monica was born and raised in New Jersey. She has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Penn State University and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Cal State Fullerton. She spent several years working, living, and playing coast to coast before settling down in Katy in 2009. She has been married for over 24 years to her soulmate Atiba and together they have three children and a dog that help her stay young, strong, and active. She is a staunch supporter of chocolate and coffee any time of day and binge-watching trashy reality TV shows. Some of her favorite things include cooking up new recipes, writing, Penn State Football, and anything satirical. Monica believes that motherhood continues to lead her through a challenging journey of personal growth, gratitude, and constant chaos.

Sasha was born in Germany and has been traveling the world ever since. After moving back to the states at age 3 she spend most of her growing up in a small Northern California city. After high school Sasha moved to Sacramento with her high school sweetheart and attended California State University Sacramento completing her bachelors degree in Ethnic Studies with a minor in Anthropology. After welcoming their first son and getting married in California these two love birds moved to Reno Nevada and welcomed yet another baby boy. A short time after his birth they were missing the cold Cali weather they grew up with so they packed up the boys and pups and made their way to Seattle, Washington. Sasha soon was expecting yet another beautiful baby boy. After his birth they finally decided on a place to land (or so they thought). Sasha spent 3 years in Dallas and completed her Masters degree in Special Education and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her family then moved to Orlando FL for one year and enjoyed all the sun, fun, and Disney Florida had to offer. And then finally buying their current home in Missouri City, just south of Houston.

Sean was born in Colorado and grew up in Wisconsin. She moved to the Texas Hill Country with her parents and siblings after receiving her BA in Psychology at Ripon College in 2010. Sean is married to Will, and they moved to Houston for his job. Weeks before their 4 year anniversary, they welcomed son Liam {April 2019}. Sean is a yoga teacher and, after March 2020, has been teaching yoga exclusively on the online platform, Patreon. Sean and her family are excited to welcome a second baby boy in January 2022!

Tiffany is a bit of a wanderlust. She was born in Georgia and has lived in Okinawa, Japan, Monterey, California, Dayton, Ohio and then spent the majority of her formative years growing up in Canton, Ohio. For the last eleven years she has called Houston home. She's continued to enjoy the friendly skies having traveled to England, Japan, Oman, and Egypt as well as states across the US. She is busy with her now five-year old twins {a boy and a girl}, enjoying time with her husband and spending time with friends.
