Comcast RISE: Helping Houston Small Businesses to Thrive

We are proud to partner with Comcast RISE to share about this exciting program for small businesses in Houston.

Small businesses have always been the heartbeat of the American economy. They drive innovation as well as create many jobs for local residents. They know their community and can offer products and services tailored to the demographics they serve. Four years ago, Houston small businesses were hit especially hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, and sadly, many did not survive. Many continue to operate, but need support to thrive. Fortunately, there is a program committed to doing just that.

Comcast RISE was created in 2020 to help small businesses hard hit by COVID-19 recover and thrive. As small businesses transition from pandemic recovery to a focus on expansion and growth, Comcast will continue their efforts and help an even broader range of small businesses, while continuing to focus on diversity, inclusion, and community investment. Comcast RISE is one of several programs that Comcast has overseen as part of Project UP aimed at closing the digital divide and achieving digital equity.
