For many of us moms, coffee is what gets us going … and keeps us going all day long. The truth is, whether you’re a stay at home mom, a working mom, or really any kind of mom, momming is exhausting. Coffee is the fuel that keeps us going.
Whether you have a French Press, a Keurig, or a good old-fashioned coffee pot, there is still something special about getting a cup of coffee out on the town. But when you live in a city as vast as Houston with as many options as we have, where do you go for the best house blend or specialty latte? Here at Houston Moms, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite independent coffee shops in Houston {and surrounding areas} so you can see for yourself!
HOUSTON COFFEE SHOPS :: INSIDE THE LOOP

Doshi House:: This place is a gem with unique teas, plant-based alternative milks, and a vegan menu. Be sure to try an iced chai tea latte and a Yachea Gogi panini {stuffed with mushrooms and red cabbage in a Korean BBQ sauce}.
Downtown
Tout Suite:: This channels the hipster vibes and serves up a mean cup of Oregon’s own Stumptown coffee. Rumor has it the macaroons are heavenly. They also have a full menu of drinks and delicious food!

Museum District
Planet Kaffeine:: If you are looking for a comfortable place to relax, read, or get some work done, this place has you covered.
