Indoor Playgrounds & Arcades in Southeast Houston

While cooler weather is {hopefully} right around the corner, and there are no shortage of beautiful parks and outdoor spaces to enjoy around Houston, the truth is that Houston weather can be unpredictable {or perhaps, a little too predictable}. Whether it’s 108 degree summer days, or a cold and rainy winter, having a plan for indoor activities with your kiddos is always a good idea. Luckily, southeast Houston {think south of the loop and east of Hwy 45} has some great go-to options when outside is less than ideal.

Indoor Playgrounds in Southeast Houston

Webster

The Play Space

The self proclaimed largest indoor playground in Texas, The Play Space has something for everyone! There’s a large climbing structure with slides and tunnels galore for the big kids, as well as two smaller play areas for little ones under 4. You can also challenge your friends to over 35 different arcade games, or enjoy a bite at their full service cafe with pizza, popcorn, and more!

Funcity Sk8

Enjoy some family-friendly roller skating along both new and old school arcade games during open skate hours, or book a birthday party and get the whole event space to yourself! New to skating, or skating with a little one? They offer clip-in skates for even the littlest feet, and skate trainers for skating newbies.

Urban Air

At Urban Air Adventure & Trampoline Park, you can choose from three different levels of attractions: Platinum, Ultimate or Deluxe. With everything from Go Karts and zip lines to trampolines and a ninja warrior course, this indoor space is definitely geared more toward the 10+ crowd, but my 4 and 1 year olds had fun jumping on the trampolines, too.

Main Event

The website proudly proclaims that Main Event is good for: family-friendly fun, great burgers and watching sports. Say no more! With activities like bowling, billiards, laser tag and over 100 games for all ages, every member of your family will have no problem finding entertainment. When you’re ready to refuel, their extensive menu has got you covered with all of the hits like wings, pizza, burgers and more.

Seabrook

Bounce N Play

With new locations recently opened in both Willowbrook and Pearland, the original Seabrook location has recently undergone some changes as well! A new and improved {and bigger!} baby/toddler area, they still have all of the same beloved activities like the ball pit slide, foam block pit, climbing structure, and pretend play town. Bounce N Play is geared toward the younger crowd – 10 and under – so your little ones can play without the fear of rowdy big kids. And like most indoor playgrounds, socks are required!

Pasadena

Kids Empire

With locations all over the country, and Houston, the recently opened Pasadena location is huge, clean and ready for action. With multiple opportunities for climbing, spinning, creative building, riding, sliding and more, your kids both big and small will be entertained for hours. The baby/toddler area is the biggest of any indoor playground I’ve ever seen, and my four year old’s favorite is the motorized bikes that “race” {slowly} around a designated “speedway”.

League City

Jumping World

Just as the name implies, Jumping World is your dream destination if your child loves jumping on trampolines! Enjoy tumbling lanes, a foam pit, jungle gym, toddler area and more. You can join in the fun or sit back, relax and take it all in.

Friendswood

Dave & Buster’s

A fun for the whole family experience, the Dave & Buster’s at Baybrook Mall not only offers an array of VR, arcade, tabletop and traditional gaming, but a full service bar and restaurant as well. Not only that, but they’re sure to be showing your favorite team on game day. Pack up the whole family for this one, and the kids can run wild in the game room while you enjoy yourself a drink and a bite to eat.

  1. A favorite of ours for many years was Pump It Up in Clear Lake. We have been to many birthday parties here and used to go on Wednesdays when my boys were small for 1/2 price day. Lots of fun!
