Last Minute Taylor Swift Inspired Halloween Costumes

Taylor Swift costumes are going to be all the rage this year. We’ve compiled a list of easy-to-order, affordable options for you and the little Swifties in your life.

I don’t know about you, but at my house, my daughter and I may be just a little Taylor Swift obsessed these days. Yes, I was one of those many moms stuck online in a virtual waiting room for 12 hours straight about a year ago. Thankfully, we actually got tickets (in the highest row possible) for one of the Houston Eras Tour nights. If you were there, you know- it was truly magical. And we’ve been carrying that magic with us ever since as my daughter is now on a mission to learn every.single.lyric to every.single.song.

So naturally, with Halloween just around the corner, Taylor’s been our main inspiration. I’ve never been one to really get into cosplay but ever since the Eras Tour, I may have changed my tune. There really was something special about dressing up with a group with a common theme. And with sooooo many different eras and looks to choose from, I’m excited to have another opportunity to try one out. Here are six easy and affordable Taylor Swift inspired Halloween costumes for you and/or your girls to rock this year.

Last Minute Ideas for Taylor Swift Costumes

The Debut Look

I mean, what’s more classic TSwift than the look she rocked for her debut album? Cute country dress, boots, and a guitar. You may even have everything you already need in your closet. Maybe add a spiral blonde wig if you’re feeling extra!

You Belong with Me

This is the costume my daughter decided on for this Halloween: the Junior Jewels T-shirt and pajama pants outfit from the You Belong with Me video. How easy and comfy is this? Grab a plain white tee and some fabric pens for a simple DIY project. Don’t forget the fake glasses and pajama pants!

I’ll be honest, Red is not my favorite album. But it’s got to be one of my favorite looks. This tee shirt plus a felt hat and some red lipstick. Easy peasy, you’ve got the whole look down.

Blank Space

Okay, this one’s a little more of a deep dive that only the true Swifties will recognize, but I love the Blank Space music video. You know, where Taylor’s got those crazy rich lady vibes. This kind of fancy and silky leopard top with some wild hair and mascara dripping down your face- you’ll nail it.

Of course, we can’t forget Folklore and Evermore. These are probably my favorite albums to listen to. And the looks from these eras are so easy- you may even already have something in your closet that would work. But if you don’t, this cardigan or a cozy shacket combined with braided hair equals folksy Taylor to a tee. And I’m certain you’ll wear these over and over again this fall making this a practical costume too!
