Make Lasting Family Memories this Summer at East River 9

We are proud to partner with Houston's East River 9 to share with Houston Moms a unique spot for making family memories.

This summer, I really want to be intentional about exploring and making family memories with my kids in Houston. We live in one of the largest cities in the country with endless opportunities to explore new activities and entertainment. Our family loves sports and being outside, so we were thrilled to hear about Houston’s East River 9.

With activities like golf and pickleball, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy, making it the perfect destination for a day out with the kids. Families can immerse themselves in this one-of-a-kind experience while creating lasting family memories together.

Unique Experience

Houston’s East River 9 is one of golf’s most unique new courses, highlighting its innovative design and captivating ambiance. My golfer husband is pumped to experience the links-style short course, driving range, and social putting green, all complete with LED lights for nighttime play!

My kids are most excited about East River 9’s pickleball facilities. Pickleball is a lifelong sport that most any age human can enjoy. You can book courts by the hour for casual play, but they also have leagues and tournaments available for more competitive players.

Live Music and Community Events

Summer is all about being out and about and being social. Beyond sports and recreation, the venue hosts live music every Friday and Saturday and community gatherings, fostering a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere where families can come together to relax, unwind, and connect with their neighbors. For our family, there isn’t much better than a weekend night spent listening to music while our kids play.

The on-site restaurant, Riverhouse, offers delicious dining options, ensuring that families can refuel and recharge after a day of fun-filled activities. From casual bites to mouthwatering meals, there’s something on the menu to satisfy every palate. And yes, for all you moms whose kids survive on chicken fingers and quesadillas, Riverhouse has a GREAT kids’ menu with these staples that comes with their choice of drink and fries! And these aren’t your typical kiddo offerings with organic chicken for the fingers, a gourmet grilled cheese, kid-sized sliders with wholesome ingredients, and more! Plus, they of course have crayons and coloring books available to keep those little hands busy so you can enjoy your meal.
