Step Into the Magic of Venardos Circus

We are proud to partner with Venardos Circus for this post.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable family outing this winter,  Venardos Circus is bringing its signature Broadway-style, animal-free circus experience back to the Houston area this month! Known for its energetic performers, jaw-dropping aerialists, and kid-friendly atmosphere, Venardos delivers a show that everyone from toddlers to teens (and adults!) will enjoy.

This year’s performances take place under the classic red-and-white striped big top at Crown Festival Park (18355 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX), just a short drive from Houston.

ALICE in Sugarland

Curiouser and curiouser. Venardos Circus proudly presents ALICE, a Broadway-style, animal-free circus production tumbling, flying, and laughing its way across the U.S. in 2026. Inspired by the adventurous spirit of Alice, audiences are invited to step through the looking glass and beneath the iconic red-and-white big top, where the unexpected awaits. In this imaginative world, gravity feels optional, laughter spreads quickly, and extraordinary talent takes center ring.

Blending classic circus artistry with a fresh, modern sensibility, ALICE is playful, fast-paced, and thoughtfully crafted for audiences of all ages. Each act unfolds like a chapter in a curious tale, filled with daring feats, remarkable precision, and whimsical humor that keeps audiences wondering what might happen next.

You’ll see world-class acrobats, high-flying aerial artists, master jugglers, fearless hand balancers, and sidesplitting comedians working together to tell a story that’s whimsical and exciting.

Best of all? There are no animals in the show, which means the focus stays on the performers’ incredible physical talents.

Tips for Your Circus Day

Seating ranges from standard to elevated, and the layout ensures great visibility so even little ones can see all the action. It’s smart to dress in layers if evenings are cool, as the big top can get breezy.

Whether you’ve been before or this is your first circus under the big top, Venardos Circus delivers a blend of nostalgia, thrill, and theatrical flair that’s perfect for families around Houston. Don’t miss this chance to make some magical memories this February!
