My friends and I are always looking for fun and creative ways to have a night out together. Dinner and drinks are great, and obviously welcome anytime, but we also love to look for activities we can do while chatting away about our children’s recent milestones {or headaches}. Jessica, the owner and founder, is a succulent expert and started The Succulent Bar in April 2017. She grew up surrounded by plants in her family’s nursery, and offers a wide array of options related to succulent potting including party favors, custom party packages, classes and more.
While my friends and I love to take a project from start to finish, you can work with Jessica to be as involved or hands off as you want. A Succulent Bar specialist will come to your party {you only provide the space!} with everything you could possibly need to walk away with your own little pretty potted plant. From a variety of succulents, to the vessel you want to pot it in, dirt, planting tools and even wipes to clean your hands – they bring everything you could need, and the expertise to talk basic succulent and cactus care with your group to ensure a long and beautiful life. Jessica’s creativity knows no bounds and can tailor your supplies to your party’s theme, coordinate colors with toppings that include colored rocks, glass stones, moss, flag picks, etc.
Depending on the vessel you chose, which are coordinated with your specialist prior to your party, prices can range from $35-85 per person and the party set up costs about $150. And if you’re just looking for someone to set up the planting station, without the extra help during the party, she offers price points for that as well.
