Ways to Help Hill Country Flood Victims

In the early morning hours on Friday, July 4th, months worth of rain fell in a very short period of time, creating catastrophic flood damage in the Hill Country. At the time of writing this, dozens are still missing and rescues are still happening. There will be more needs identified as the days and weeks progress, but here are some starting points for immediate aid and assistance to the area.

When flood waters rise, we rise up as a community*Please note, while we know so many Houstonians have big hearts and would love nothing more than to be a physical presence to our Hill Country neighbors, police and state officials urge you to not enter the affected areas. Much recovery work is still being done and flood outbreaks are still happening around the region.*

As of 8:28AM on 4/6, City of Kerrville PD as well as other agencies have requested that financial/monetary gifts are most helpful. Many places are being inundated with donations which can tie up  other resources in the sorting/distribution effort. Please consider giving gift cards or direct donations to the vetted organizations below.
