10 Easy Galentine’s Day Ideas

I have a large circle of women that surround me and lift me, cheer me, and keep me going. {And let’s be honest, make ridiculous, lewd, and sarcastic jokes via text with me all day long!} I couldn’t live a day without them. I have chosen to invest in these women in lots of ways, but when the season of LOVE approaches, I really like to remind them that they are my best Galentine’s {aka I like to be Amy Poehler}! Here are some of my favorite, easy ways to remind your circle just how much they mean to you on February 14th…and beyond!

• My gals got Starbucks e-gift cards last year — easy, loadable to the Starbucks app on your phone, and always appreciated!
• Etsy is a treasure trove of ridiculous cards to send your best people! Search “Galentine’s” – but be warned, you will see curse words.
• I will not stop preaching the surprise pizza dinner delivery. A Galentine fresh off maternity leave…she needs a pizza.
• If your tribe is in town, schedule a kid-free brunch. {And go ahead and order the pitcher of mimosas on you!}
• Target Dollar Bin! You know half that stuff was perfectly marketed to moms that used to go gaga for Lisa Frank.
• Bitmoji. Do you have this app? Get it, work it, send it, and make your gals smile!
• Pick up some inexpensive grocery store flowers, wrap them up in craft paper, and do a little doorbell ditching!
• No one would be sad to receive homemade cookies! You can find so many cute ways on Pinterest to package and send these.
• Free Babysitting! Give your best gal pal a night out with her husband without the extra added expense of a babysitter. You also get to bond with her kids – win/win!
• Pick up the phone. Honestly, sometimes all we need from each other is to find just a little free time to call and ask how those dear to us are doing. And then just listen.
