Jessica Peterson

Jessica was born and raised in the Houston area. After graduating from University of Houston Clear Lake in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Jessica married her college sweetheart Robert that same year. Her initial goal after college was to become an English teacher, but she quickly discovered from her servant heart and desire to serve the community that nonprofit was a better career path. She spent 10 years in the nonprofit sector, while also becoming mama to 3 kids – Cadence {August 2012), Milo {September 2016}, and Eloise {July 2020). Jessica has also tirelessly served and been a part of her local MOPs mom community for 6 years {3 of which have been spent serving as co-coordinator}, been dance mom to Cadence, and found her ability as a writer with a side project as publisher for Macaroni Kid for 3 years, from 2017-2020. On most days, you can find her on the go with her kids or homeschooling, reading the latest Brene Brown book, or texting a friend a word of encouragement.
