March means warmer weather, Spring Break, and all things GREEN! The Houston area is ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with events for children, families, and adults only. Whether you want to parade it up with the family or have a date night with green beer, Houston Moms has you covered.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Houston is one of the largest parades in the great state of Texas. The parade begins at Minute Maid Park, cruises around downtown, and ends at the intersection of Rusk and St. Emanuel. Stay for some shamrock fun after with live music, activities for the kids, and delicious eats and treats. This year, the parade is Saturday, March 14 at noon.
Woodlands Children’s Museum
On Saturday, March 14th, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with dancing performances by the McTeggart Irish Dancers at 10:30am & 11:30am. This event is included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older.
St. Paddy’s Day Lucky Run
Celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 14 at Eleanor Tinsley Park with this lucky run and get a lucky running shirt with our one of a kind “Irish I ran today in my lucky shirt”. After the run, we’ll give you St. Paddy’s charms and snacks to celebrate you achieving your run goals!
Shamrock Stroll Houston St Patrick’s Day Weekend Bar Crawl
Book a babysitter on March 145 and participate in a St. Patrick’s Day in Houston bar crawl. Join a nationwide annual Houston Shamrock Stroll St Patrick’s Day Weekend Bar Crawl, when we turn the streets to gold in search of lucky leprechauns and golden good times. Be safe, wear green, and have some fun!
Saint Patrick’s Day Party at Social Beer Garden
Another 21 and up event is this St. Patty’s themed date night at Social Beer Garden. Green beer starts pouring Monday, March 17 at 11:00 am! The no-cover party also includes Guinness and Jameson drinks specials, DJs, and a leprechaun. Social Beer Garden is also pet-friendly!
