Houston Moms on the Move with Chantell Preston

Perfection used to drive Chantell Preston. Now, peace does. As a healthcare executive, founder, coach, and mom of three, she knows the pressure to “do it all” and the freedom that comes when you finally let that go.

In this episode, Chantell talks with MoM host Meagan about the lessons she’s learned from parenting, coaching, and saying no with confidence. She reminds us that motherhood isn’t about chasing an impossible standard, but about protecting your joy and rediscovering who you are beyond the title of mom.

Takeaways for every mom:

  • Why moms should be coaching and how we lead differently than dads
  • How to stop chasing perfection and start protecting your peace
  • Simple ways to reclaim your identity outside of motherhood
  • The power of saying “no” (and meaning it)

Whether you’re juggling carpools, careers, or just trying to survive summer break, this episode will leave you feeling seen, supported, and inspired.

Meagan is a Dallas native who has lived in the Katy area for almost two decades. She kicked a soccer ball all the way to Louisiana to attend college at her family’s alma mater of LSU, where she promptly fell in love with a Texas Aggie in Baton Rouge for an internship. After swimming back to Texas following Hurricane Katrina, Matt and Meagan fell in love with the Houston area and now couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Following several years of infertility, their miracle twins Ryan and Quinn were born in June of 2010. She believes there is nothing better than a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio, a large Sonic Diet Coke, sushi take-out, Girls Nights Out, and a mindless book to curl up with. Besides playing chauffeur and catering to the whims of her children, Meagan also is the Co-Owner of Houston Moms. You can keep up with Meagan on Instagram, @meaghtx!
